The board of directors
of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) today elected Raynor B. Reavis, 63, a vice
president of the corporation. Reavis has been senior vice president of
marketing and sales for Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation, a wholly owned
subsidiary of General Dynamics, since July 2002 and will continue to hold that
position.

At Gulfstream, Reavis led the successful introduction of the company’s new
seven-aircraft fleet in Sept. 2002, and has directed the subsequent
introduction of the G350 and G450 large-cabin, mid- and long-range business-
jet aircraft as well.

Prior to joining Gulfstream, Reavis was senior vice president of sales of
NetJets, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway Company, from 1998 to 2002. He previously
was vice president of marketing for Gulfstream (1994 to 1998), senior vice
president of sales for Raytheon/BAE and vice president of business development
for Electronic Data Systems.

Reavis also was a pilot in the U.S. Marine Corps, and he has a bachelor’s
degree in business administration from Baylor University.
