Wilton, CT , December 20, 2004 — On the morning of January 10, 2005 PanAmSat will transition customers from Galaxy 5 to Galaxy 12. The transfer window will begin at 0300ET (3AM ET) and end at approximately 0600 ET (6 AM ET).
After more than 12 years of un-interrupted service, Galaxy 5 will pass the torch as the number one cable neighborhood to Galaxy 12. Galaxy 12 will provide unrivaled power and redundancy to support our clients through the next decade.
