Frequency Electronics Inc. of Mitchel Field, N.Y., has received contracts totaling more than $10 million for secure communications satellite payloads for the U.S. government, the company said in a July 23 press release.
Frequency said the precision timing systems and low-phase-noise frequency source it will supply are based on systems previously developed by the company and currently deployed in orbit. A substantial portion of the recently contracted work, Frequency said, will be completed within 18 months.
