The SpaceNews editorial team produced the official Show Daily for the 70th International Astronautical Congress in Washington, Oct. 21-25. 

The Day 1 issue, published Oct. 21, features an IAC curtain raiser on the efforts of NASA’s international partners to keep up with the U.S. space agency’s lunar ambitions.

The Day 2 issue, published Oct. 22, features coverage of U.S. Vice President Mike Pence’s keynote address and the heads of agency plenary session that opened the conference plus stories on ConsenSys, the MILO Institute, ESA’s $13.9 billion budget request, China’s lunar ambitions and a Q&A with the creator of Gunter’s Space Page.

The Day 3 issue, published Oct. 23, features  a cover story on Blue Origin joining forces with Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman and Draper to compete for NASA’s lunar lander contract plus stories SpaceX’s ambitious Starlink schedule,  African smallsat programs, Noorsphere, Arianespace, Made In Space and more.

The Day 4 issue, published Oct. 24, leads with an interview with ESA Director General Jan Woerner previewing the Space19+ ministerial and includes coverage of Rocket Lab’s lunar ambitions, Spacebit’s robotic gambit, South Korean launch startup Perigee, New Zealand’s space agenda and more.
