LOS ANGELES AIR FORCE BASE, El Segundo, Calif. — The Defense Meteorological Satellite (DMSP) Flight 19 mission launch team will host a media teleconference Thursday, March 27 at 9  a.m. PDT/10 a.m. MDT/noon EDT to discuss the upcoming launch scheduled for April. 3 from Space Launch Complex 3, Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB), Calif.

The launch support team will discuss details of the launch and will be available for questions.

Team members include:  Dr. Walter Lauderdale, Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) mission director; Col. Scott Larrimore, SMC Weather Program director; Lt. Col. James Bodnar, VAFB 4th Space Launch Squadron commander; Rick Beach, United Launch Alliance director, West Coast Launch Operations; Sue Stretch, Lockheed Martin DMSP program director and Gilbert Chan, Northrop Grumman DMSP Program director.
