Engineers and researchers in the Space Technology 5 (ST5) Project office at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md., are putting the finishing touches on three very small satellites that are out to prove that big science and engineering results can come in much smaller packaging.
News representatives are invited to a Goddard media day event to see and learn about how the ST5 team shrunk a bus size satellite down to the size of a 13 inch Television. The ST5 Project is an instrumental part of NASA’s New Millennium Program which was created to develop and validate in space critical and revolutionary technologies needed to enable future science missions in space.
