Com Dev’s exactEarth subsidiary will provide maritime shipping data to Global Spatial Technology Solutions Inc. (GSTS) under an agreement announced March 7.
Cambridge, Ontario-based exactEarth — which is deploying a constellation of small satellites to provide Automatic Identification System (AIS) data on ships to coastal authorities — will provide its exactAIS global shipping data feed to GSTS to aid the company in the creation of a maritime vessel management capability, exactEarth said in a press release.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
