WASHINGTON, D.C. – Arthur “Bill” Beckman, chairman of the Coalition for Space Exploration today issued the following statement regarding the NASA Day of Remembrance:
“The Coalition for Space Exploration joins NASA on this Day of Remembrance to honor the brave men and women aboard Apollo 1, Challenger, and Columbia, as well as other colleagues, who have made the ultimate sacrifice in humanity’s quest to explore space,” Beckman said. “Today we pause – both humbled and inspired – to reflect on these fallen heroes whose passion for exploration and discovery will never be forgotten. As we move into the next great era of space exploration, we are proud to honor these remarkable men and women by continuing their mission to push the envelope of human experience and inspire a new generation of explorers around the world.”
