The Alexandria, Va.-based Challenger Center for Space Science Education said Nov. 19 it had received a $274,000 grant from NASA for education and public outreach in Earth and space science.
The Challenger Center said in a press release it will work with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, Greenbelt, Md., to incorporate space weather into the simulated space missions it runs for students through its network of 47 Challenger Learning Centers worldwide.
