The Mars Institute is happy to announce today that Brent Sherwood, Director
of Business Development for the Exploration and Development of Space at
Boeing has joined the Mars Institute’s Board of Advisors.
Mr. Sherwood leads the growth strategy for Boeing in all areas of space
science, human exploration and the eventual large-scale development of space
resources. His 15-year background at Boeing includes program development,
business development, strategic planning, manufacturing engineering and
engineering configuration on programs such as Jupiter Icy Moons Orbiter,
Mars Sample Return, International Space Station, Sea Launch and the Space
Exploration Initiative. Mr. Sherwood has advanced degrees in both
Architecture and Aerospace Engineering.
