Most S@tcom programme participants will be aware that the S@tcom programme formally came to an end in March 2003. A follow on programme is awaiting the development of a DTI space plan which is under preparation.
In the meantime, DTI has approved interim funding of £900K to support S@tcom programme follow-on activities during the current financial year.
A number of S@tcom 3rd round feasibility studies are showing encouraging signs of proceeding to project phase and therefore BNSC is requesting these consortia to submit very short preliminary outline project proposals. The closing date for submission of Application forms is 11th June 2003. New project or study proposals not forming part of the current S@tcom programme will not be eligible for interim funding.
