Frédéric Castel

Frédéric Castel is a Paris-based reporter with over 20 years of experience covering aerospace, defense, and international affairs for Radio Canada, BBC World Service, Le Figaro, and AFP. He has reported from launch centers around the world and covered more than 100 space missions during his career, including the 1996 debut of the Ariane 5 rocket to the 2022 debut of NASA’s Space Launch System. Castel is also the author of "ATV the European Spaceship: Stories Behind the Scenes of an International Success” (2015).
