The launch of
an Atlas V launch vehicle with the Hellas-Sat satellite was postponed
today, International Launch Services announced.

During prelaunch activities at the launch pad a vehicle
instrumentation anomaly was identified that requires investigation,
and possible replacement of a component, which can be accomplished
while the vehicle is in launch configuration. The vehicle will be
returned to the Vehicle Integration Facility for the work to be
performed. The Atlas team will determine tonight whether this will be
a 24- or 48-hour recycle for launch either Tuesday or Wednesday. The
satellite is being launched for Hellas-Sat and it was built by
Astrium.
