Plano, Texas-based ASC Signal Corp. said Oct. 1 that it had been awarded a nearly $2 million contract to design, build and install a seven-antenna Earth station near Munich for HorizonSat Teleports GmbH, a subsidiary of United Arab Emirates-based HorizonSat.
Under the contract, ASC Signal will install a combination of 9.4-meter antennas designed for Ku- and Ka-band frequencies and 7.6-meter antennas designed for Ku-band.
