The AFSPC-11 mission is set to launch aboard a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida, April 14.

The AFSPC-11 mission team is led by the Space and Missile Systems Center’s Launch Systems Enterprise Directorate, located at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, California.
The Space and Missile Systems Center is the U.S. Air Force Space Command’s center of excellence for acquiring and developing military space systems. Its portfolio includes the Global Positioning System, military satellite communications, defense meteorological satellites, space launch and range systems, satellite control networks, space based infrared systems, and space situational awareness capabilities.
