Aerojet Rocketdyne, a GenCorp (GY) company, announced today that its Clearfield, Utah, site has achieved a significant safety milestone in operating for 10 years without a lost-time injury.

The Utah facility, primarily a manufacturing-based operation, reached the decade-long milestone in late September.

“We are extraordinarily proud of the safety accomplishments by our Utah teammates,” said Chris Conley, vice president, Environmental, Health & Safety for Aerojet Rocketdyne. “This significant achievement demonstrates the ongoing commitment to safe behavior and operating discipline by each and every employee. While statistics are an important way to measure the success of our workplace safety initiatives, it is even more important when we remember that this data represents the well-being and protection of each of our individual employees.”

Adherence to workplace safety is the number one priority throughout all of Aerojet Rocketdyne’s business practices. The commitment extends from executive leadership to the craftspeople building products and to those who maintain the company’s facilities throughout the United States.
