Buzz Aldrin, the second man to walk on the Moon, became the second celebrity contestant voted off ABC’s 10th season of “Dancing with the Stars.” The Apollo 11 astronaut got the boot April 6 after he and his dance partner, 27-year-old Ashly Costa, received the judges’ lowest scores for the third week in a row.

Aldrin was saved from elimination March 30 by viewers who phoned, texted and e-mailed their votes to keep the octogenarian space legend on the show another week despite his poor dance performances.
