The firm was recognized for providing outstanding services to KSC on the Information Management and Communications Support (IMCS) contract at the second annual NASA Small Business Symposium and Awards Ceremony held at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference Center on November 17th 2009.
In June 2008, Abacus Technology was awarded the IMCS contract to support space launch operations at KSC with a maximum potential value of more than $900 Million. Over the past eighteen months, Abacus has continued to receive excellent ratings from NASA/KSC for its execution of a smooth 90 day contract phase-in that transitioned 600+ staff and for its support of KSC shuttle launch operations.
