The Sixth International Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope Symposium will hold a press briefing at 2 p.m. EST (19:00 UTC) on Thursday, Nov. 12, to discuss new measurements by the Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope relating to the Tarantula nebula in the Large Magellanic Cloud, one of the Milky Way’s companion galaxies. The press briefing will be held in Mezzanine 1 at the Sheraton Pentagon City, 900 S. Orme St., Arlington, VA 22204, near Washington, DC.

The Sixth International Fermi Symposium will be held Nov. 9-13, 2015, at the Sheraton Pentagon City. Journalists are invited to attend the symposium and the press briefing. There will be other press-worthy presentations and releases during the meeting.
