NASA today announced the selection of Jackson’s Cleaning Services LLC, of Charlottesville, Virginia, to provide cleaning and custodial services for the facilities at NASA’s Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia.

Under this contract, the company will provide facility cleaning and custodial services that include such things as supervision, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supplies, and management that are deemed necessary for all facilities at Langley Research Center. Custodial service applies to all designated spaces including, but not limited to rest rooms, locker rooms, offices, halls, shops, laboratories, warehouses, stairways, and elevators. Services also include cleaning rooms, entranceways, lobbies, wind tunnels, and other unique research facilities.

This contract is a firm-fixed-price contract with a performance period of five years, consisting of a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. The value of the contract is $5,984,920.
