Millennium Space Systems is pleased to announce that Chris Clark has joined Millennium Space Systems, further strengthening the company’s reputation as a provider of high performance affordable spacecraft and associated flight systems.

“Chris Clark will apply the depth and breadth of his program management and space flight engineering experience to broaden our customer base to NASA and NOAA, and our core product area as a provider of affordable, high performance, low risk spacecraft,” says Vince Deno, President of Millennium Space Systems.

“The company continues its path of vertical integration, combining its reputation of judiciously applying disruptive capabilities, to further significantly reduce cost and schedule risk that plague traditional spacecraft development with affordability and low risk always being the bottom line,” says Deno.

Clark was principally involved with the early flight programs at Spectrum Astro, such as MSTI-1 and MSTI-2, which fueled its growth. He worked with several U.S. Government customers and on both large and small programs. Most recently, he was principally involved with several NASA science missions including Swift, Fermi, Landsat Data Continuity Mission (LDCM) and ICESat-2.

“Chris’s broad management and technical experience on challenging flight programs will fortify the company in adapting our core offerings for the needs of NASA, NOAA and other customers,” says Deno

Prior to joining Millennium, Clark was Director of NASA and Civil Programs at Spectrum Astro and General Dynamics. His technical experience includes working Guidance Navigation & Control on large, national programs during his early tenure at Martin Marietta and TRW. He holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California at Davis and the University of California at Berkeley, respectively.
