Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE: JEC) announced today it has been awarded an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract to support the design and implementation of soil and groundwater cleanups at Kennedy Space Center (KSC) and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station (CCAFS) in Florida.

The contract has a five-year ordering period with a potential value of $91 million. Under the terms of the contract, Jacobs is providing the NASA/KSC Environmental Assurance Branch with professional services to support them in meeting the contamination assessment and remediation requirements for Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) sites and petroleum contamination for NASA on KSC and CCAFS.

In making the announcement, Jacobs Group Vice President Terry Hagen stated, “Jacobs has actively supported NASA’s environmental remediation program at KSC since 1998 through contracts with other federal agencies.
