Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.), will host a breakfast reception with representatives from the Aerospace Industries Association, leading STEM experts and students from the Team America Rocketry Challenge, the world’s largest student rocket contest. Students will showcase their hand-built rockets and explain how TARC inspired and encouraged them to pursue future study and careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Hailing from more than 15 states, the students are in town for the competition’s final flyoff, which is taking place Saturday, May 12 in The Plains, Virginia.
