Covina, Calif.-based Composite Horizons Inc. said Nov. 30 it is nearly doubling the size of its advanced composites manufacturing facility as it prepares to support recently signed new contracts.
The expansion added an adjacent third building to Composite Horizon’s production facility, giving the company an additional 3,800 square meters of floor space. The company also added 200 square meters of clean room space to its existing buildings.
Composite Horizons, part of the U.K.-based Hampson Group, supplies aerospace customers with advanced composite structures, including rocket fairings, covers and shrouds and various satellite structures.
