WHAT: In honor of Women’s History Month, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory is hosting an event on Thursday, March 8, to recognize the success of women at NASA, JPL and other institutions working in the fields of space science, engineering and technology.

The event will include panel discussions with women in leadership roles on several NASA space missions. A group of interns and postdoctoral fellows will participate in a “Young Scientists and Engineers” panel, discussing their experiences and takeaways from working at NASA/JPL.

Over 300 female students from colleges and universities across Southern California will attend and participate in the “Leaders in Space Exploration” event. Elementary school students will attend the “Young Scientists and Engineers” panel.
