GREENBELT, Md. — NASA has awarded a contract to Trinnovim, LLC, of Arlington, Va., for specialized scientific support services to the Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), N.Y.

This is a cost-plus fixed-fee completion contract with a total value of $2,857,740.00 which includes one base year and four one-year options. The period of performance, including the optional periods, is from April 1, 2012 through March 31, 2017.

This contract will provide scientific programming and analysis in support of specific GISS research programs and performing computer facility operations, systems programming, technical library operations and overall logistical support for the GISS research facility.

GISS is a laboratory in the Earth Sciences Division of NASA Goddard Space Flight Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, Md. and a unit of the Columbia University Earth Institute, located at Columbia University in New York City, N.Y. NASA GSFC in Greenbelt, Md. is the lead center for GISS. Its primary mission is research that emphasizes a broad study of global change, an interdisciplinary research initiative addressing natural and man-made changes in our environment which occur on various time scales from decades to millennia and which affect the habitability of our planet.
