NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility will conduct an exercise to test the response and procedures to an aircraft accident on the facility’s airport from 9 a.m. to noon, September 28.

The exercise, which simulates a landing incident with the P-3B science aircraft based at Wallops, will involve Wallops’ emergency response staff as well as participation of local emergency management services and hospitals.

The rain date for the exercise is September 29.
