Russian Federal Space Agency and Administration of Tula region have signed an agreement which implies introduction of the space technologies in the region, on Feb. 24. The signatures were put by Roscosmos Head Anatoly Perminov and Governor of Tula region Vyacheslav Dudka. The agreement is aimed at effective usage of the space navigation system in Tula region for its social and economical evolution. It includes establishment of Space Service Center, deployment of navigation data system based on GLONASS/GPS signals with client SW for monitoring of different objects, landing control, construction, geodesic and other activities. Integrated geo-informational system of the region also includes development of basic mapping, functional territory planning, transport monitoring and other systems. NPK-RECOD will act as official representative of Roscosmos in Tula region wrt implementation of the agreement.
