NASA Takes the Lead in Alternative Energy as Alternative Energy Fleet Vehicles Showcased at Kennedy Space Center

EVCARCO (EVCA 0.06, 0.00, 0.00%) . NASA’s Kennedy Space Center held a series of events to showcase electric vehicles and electric drive Systems. The events fell along side Earth day events such as the Beach cleanup as well as educational programs.

EVCARCO, a Texas based Corporation which manages several electric vehicle brands, provided the latest electric vehicles to NASA staff. The event allowed NASA staff to learn about electric vehicles and their advancements.

The program showcased the latest in mature, all electric vehicle technology, innovations in renewable energy concepts, and market ready alternative fuel technology.

EVCARCO and NASA-KSC transportation department showcased the following vehicles:

– Production model Highway Speed
– Lithium
Smart car
– Prototype Tazzari-Zero All Electric Lithium Powered Italian Roadster
– Production model UTV-Mil Spec Vehicle
– Prototype

EVCARCO provided a delegation to discuss the advances in the electric car market such as: CTO, Technology expert Eduard Prous COO, Operations expert Scott O’Neal Strategy expert, Richard Griffiths

The vehicles took place in Ride and Drives, discussions with NASA-KSC staff and public display at The U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame – Kennedy Space Center (linked) for the YURIS night celebration. NASA-KSC transportation has one of the largest alternative energy fleets within the Federal Government. The fleet currently uses over 1800 alternative energy vehicles including All electric (EV), Hybrid, CNG, Hydrogen and other experimental Technologies.
