MOFFETT FIELD, Calif., — News media are invited to attend the announcement of a major new partnership at NASA Research Park on Friday, March 13, 2009 at NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif.

WHAT: The University of California, Santa Cruz, and the Foothill-De Anza Community College District will announce a dynamic new partnership with NASA Ames Research Center to establish a sustainable community for education and research at the NASA Research Park at Moffett Field.

WHEN: From noon to 1:30 p.m. PDT Friday, March 13, 2009. Media credentials will be issued starting at 11:30 a.m.

WHERE: NASA Ames Research Center, Moffett Field, Calif., NASA Ames Conference Center (Building 3).

WHO: Participants include S. Pete Worden, NASA Ames Director; George Blumenthal, UCSC Chancellor; Anna Eshoo, U.S. Congress Representative, 14th District; Mike Honda, U.S. Congress Representative, 15th District; Martha Kanter, Chancellor, Foothill-DeAnza Community College District and Carl Guardino, President and CEO, Silicon Valley Leadership Group.
