NASA’s Glenn Research Center is opening its doors for a public open house this weekend, May 17 and 18, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. to commemorate NASA’s 50th anniversary.

Visitors are invited to take a self-guided tour of facilities, exhibits and the Visitor Center as well as enjoy demonstrations, presentations and hands-on activities for the children.

In addition to the open house, the doors will be open to industry as well when Glenn hosts a Business Opportunity Forum on Friday, May 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Ohio Aerospace Institute in Brook Park. Glenn’s Technology Transfer and Partnerships Office, together with the center’s research and procurement offices and the Ohio Aerospace Institute, have planned an information-packed event designed to help local businesses discover the potential of doing business with Glenn Research Center.

Media interested in covering either of these events are asked to please contact Sally Harrington at 216-433-2037. There will be on-site parking for media representatives during the open house.
