MOFFETT FIELD, Calif. – News media are invited to attend several events celebrating the 25th anniversary of the NASA Advanced Supercomputing (NAS) Division at Ames Research Center on Monday, April 21, 2008.
The events begin with a morning symposium at NASA Ames highlighting the NAS Division’s legacy of accomplishments in high performance computing. Tours of the supercomputing facility at Ames will be offered from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. PDT. An afternoon symposium begins at 4 p.m. PDT at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, Calif., followed by a reception at 6 p.m. PDT at the museum.
