LinQuest Corp., a provider of space- and communications-related engineering services to U.S. military and intelligence customers, acquired Schafer Corp.’s Colorado Springs, Colo.-based systems engineering and technical support division, LinQuest announced in a Feb. 14 press release.
The newly acquired Schafer division holds contracts with U.S. Air Force Space Command for activities including space control, Los Angeles-based LinQuest said. Terms of the acquisition, which became effective Feb. 13, were not disclosed.
“This acquisition adds key Space Control and cyberspace qualifications to our current LinQuest portfolio,” Ron Gorda, LinQuest chief operating officer, said in a prepared statement.
