Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) has received two awards from INROADS, Inc. for supporting the organization’s overall mission to provide salaried corporate internships for minority college students.

Northrop Grumman’s Newport News sector received the Corporate Sponsor Leader of the Year award for providing quality internships to students and supporting the local INROADS office. Northrop Grumman provides more internships to students than any other company in the state of Virginia.

Natalie Joyner from the company’s human resources department received the Business Coordinator of the Year award. Joyner manages the INROADS process for the company and was recognized for her time, dedication, concern and enthusiasm for intern development.

Founded in 1970, INROADS is the nation’s largest non-profit source of salaried corporate internships for excelling Black, Hispanic/Latino and Native American Indian college students. INROADS has graduated nearly 20,000 leaders, providing them with the professional skills and competencies necessary to be successful in advanced careers. With 54 offices throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada, INROADS trains and places more than 5,000 young men and women each year in salaried corporate internships.
