What: Safety Day at NASA’s Marshall Space
Flight Center will feature activities underscoring the importance of safety
in the space program, as well as everyday life. Noted psychologist Dr.
Joseph Mancusi, president of the Center for Organizational Excellence in
Sterling, Va., will be the keynote speaker. Mancusi will focus on the
connection between stress and unsafe behavior. Safety Day activities will
also feature safety displays, group workshops and awards.

Who: Marshall Center Director Art
Stephenson will recognize employees for efforts to ensure their workplace is
hazard-free. Astronauts will be on hand to talk about the importance of
safety in space flight.

When: Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2002 8:30 a.m. CDT
