NASA has selected four California companies to perform facility construction and modifications at the agency’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, Calif.
The companies are Cyber Professional Solutions of Chula Vista, SM Construction Inc. of Clovis, Menco Pacific of Escondido, and Tri-Technic Inc. of Sonora and will share a multiple award contract valued at $30 million.
The firm-fixed priced contract has a two-year base period, three option periods and an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity component. Contractual services begin Dec. 3.
The selected contractors will support the construction, alteration and repair of NASA buildings, structures and other real property located at Ames and the Moffett Federal Airfield Complex (MFAC). Work will include a variety of construction related activities including new construction, renovation and repairs at various locations at Ames and MFAC.
