IOP Publishing (IOP) has today launched a new journalist area [http://journalists.iop.org/journalistArea] where journalists and science writers can gain access to the latest research from IOP journals.

By subscribing to this service you can gain access to embargoed press releases, advanced copies of journal papers, images, videos and other supplementary material, all in one place. You will also gain free access to IOPscience, IOP’s online journal platform, where you can access and download content from over 60 research journals.

To register for this free service, please contact IOP press officer, Michael Bishop (michael.bishop@iop.org), with your name, organization, address and telephone number. If you have a preferred username for your account, please include your suggestion. Your application will be checked by the press office to verify your identity and job role and an email will be sent to you confirming the username and password for your account.

The submission of your details is an application to be registered as an authorized journalist on this site. IOP Publishing shall act fairly in considering your application, but may accept or reject your application in its sole discretion and without any requirement to provide reasons for its decision. By signing up to the News Room you are agreeing to abide by IOP’s embargo policy [http://journalists.iop.org/journalistLogin/embargoPolicy] and the terms and conditions of the website [http://ioppublishing.org/termsAndConditions].
