Paragon Space Development Corp. has completed the preliminary design review of an air revitalization system it is developing for manned spacecraft under NASA’s Commercial Crew and Cargo Program, the Tucson, Ariz.-based company said Aug. 23.
Paragon is working on the Commercial Crew Transport Air Revitalization System (CCT-ARS) under a funded NASA Space Act Agreement awarded in February and worth $1.4 million. The preliminary design review was the third of five program milestones Paragon intends to complete this year. The two remaining milestones are completing the manufacturing of the CCT-ARS engineering development unit and conducting integrated ground tests on the system.
