Congressman Robert Aderholt, of Alabama’s 4th District, will address the International Space Station Research and Development Conference (ISSRDC) on Wednesday, July 27, in Washington, D.C., as its luncheon keynote speaker.

Rep. Aderholt is in his 13th term as a congressman and serves as a member of the House Committee on Appropriations and as Ranking Member of the Subcommittee on Commerce, Justice, and Science. During his address at ISSRDC, Representative Aderholt will share his vision and priorities for the future of the International Space Station, building commerce in low Earth orbit, human exploration, and how space contributes to America’s continued global preeminence.

ISSRDC is hosted by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space, Inc. (CASIS), manager of the ISS National Laboratory; NASA; and the American Astronautical Society (AAS). The conference, being held July 25-28, 2022, at the Omni Shoreham Hotel in Washington, D.C., allows leaders in science and industry to explore ways to utilize the ISS to maximize their R&D goals.
