NASA and Starburst Accelerator, a leading global aerospace accelerator, are partnering for a pitch event about the future of aerospace on June 23 at 1 p.m. PDT. The event is a part of the “Road to GES” in support of the 2016 White House Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Silicon Valley.

Hosted at NASA’s Ames Research Center in Moffett Field, California, this event will involve 10 start-ups pitching their businesses and technologies to a selection committee and an audience of more than 300 leaders from aerospace industry, venture capital and government agencies.

NASA Ames Center Director Eugene Tu will speak about the state of the aerospace and space sector. A VIP panel will hear from some of Starburst’s startups who have been through the pitch process and are currently in discussion with large corporate sponsors and investors.

Preceding the event, media are invited to browse booths featuring NASA technology and startup company proposals. Members of the news media interested in viewing the booths or attending the event should contact Jessica Culler at jessica.s.culler@nasa.gov before 5 p.m. PDT on June 22 for credentials.
