The Aerospace Corporation announces Vaeros, a division of Aerospace.
Aerospace’s Civil and Commercial Operations was renamed Vaeros. Building on Aerospace’s reputation as a trusted, impartial advisor with dedication to mission success, Vaeros combines deep technical expertise with market-leading innovation to help customers solve some of the world’s most complex systems engineering and integration challenges. It aspires to be a customer’s “first call” when engaging in a challenging systems engineering or technology development project.
“Vaeros brings innovative solutions to problems of national significance. At the same time, Vaeros helps the corporation to attract talent, keep our skills current, and reduce costs to our government customer,” said Ed Swallow, vice president of Vaeros.
The name Vaeros is a combination of the Latin word for truth,“Veritas” and “Aerospace.” The name symbolizes Aerospace’s reputation for acting with honesty, integrity and objectivity in all situations.
Vaeros will provide value to customers while extending technical knowledge across several areas, some of which include: modeling and simulation, green clean technology, technology consulting, remote sensing, and spectrum management.
