What: On Sept. 23, NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., will hold its first Small Business Innovation Research Technology Forum. Five Huntsville small businesses will demonstrate their corporate capabilities and business contract efforts. On Sept. 24, the Marshall Center will recognize NASA prime contractors and subcontractors for outstanding work in support of the center and NASA at the 2009 Industry & Advocates Award Ceremony. To qualify for the awards, businesses work to impact NASA’s mission by increasing the use of technology, reducing costs or creating innovative methodologies and processes. More than 350 Marshall team members, contractors and industry leaders are expected to attend.
Who: Huntsville businesses scheduled to offer presentations on their capabilities and contract efforts at the Innovation Research Technology Forum on Sept. 23 are AI Signal Research Inc., AZ Technology, CFD Research, Orion Propulsion and Plasma Processes.
On Sept. 24, David Brock, Marshall’s small business specialist, will present awards at the 2009 Industry & Advocates Award Ceremony.
