CLEVELAND – Media representatives are invited to attend a live televised broadcast of a press conference on NASA’s fiscal year 2009 budget request on Monday, Feb. 4, at 2:30 p.m. in the Administration Building at NASA’s Glenn Research Center.

NASA Deputy Administrator Shana Dale will preview the agency’s fiscal year 2009 budget proposal. Reporters attending the briefing at Glenn will be able to view the NASA Television broadcast, which originates from NASA Headquarters in Washington. Questions will only be taken from reporters at Headquarters.

Following the live broadcast, Glenn Center Director Dr. Woodrow Whitlow Jr. along with Deputy Director Ray Lugo, Associate Director Vernon W. “Bill” Wessel, and Chief Financial Officer Debra Watson, will be available to talk with reporters.

Reporters planning to attend the briefings should call the Media Relations Office at 216-433-2901 by 11 a.m. on Feb. 4 in order to be cleared through security.
