Media Advisory: Acclaimed Physicist Stephen Hawking to Speak Before Historical Flight

ORLANDO, FL – Final preparations are underway for renowned theoretical physicist Stephen Hawking’s zero gravity flight. But before the official launch countdown begins, the preeminent expert on cosmology and cosmic gravity will deliver a lecture during a pre-flight dinner.

Dr. Hawking will experience zero gravity during his Thursday, April 26 flight. Zero Gravity Corporation is providing the flight opportunity. Space Florida, the economic development organization responsible for sustaining and strengthening Florida’s global position as the leader in space exploration, research, investment and commerce, has partnered with Zero G to raise awareness about the next generation of space development.

Space Florida will host a pre-flight reception and dinner Wednesday evening. Dr. Hawking will speak at the dinner, to be held at:
