What: International Space Station Expedition 12 Commander Bill McArthur and Expedition 13 Flight Engineer Jeffrey Williams, who spent a combined one year on the International Space Station, will visit NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., Thursday, Jan. 25. McArthur spent six months in space on Expedition 12 – the 12th research mission to the station from September 2005 to April 2006. Williams relieved McArthur on the station March 31, 2006, to begin Expedition 13 that ended in October 2006. Both astronauts successfully completed science experiments, maintenance activities and two spacewalks each during their missions.

Where: McArthur and Williams will be available for news media interviews in the Payload Operations Center. News media should meet Marshall public affairs escorts at the Joint Visitor Control Center at Redstone Arsenal Gate 9, and then proceed to the Payload Operations Center.

Visitor parking is available in front of Bldg. 4200 on the southwest side.
