HUNTSVILLE, Ala. – NASA has selected Hernandez Engineering, Inc. of Houston, to provide safety and mission assurance services to the Marshall Space Flight Center.
The indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, cost plus award fee award term contract has a maximum potential value of $376.2 million over 10 years. The contract begins Feb. 1, 2007.
Hernandez Engineering will provide support services associated with planning and implementing the System Safety Engineering, Industrial Safety, Reliability and Maintainability Engineering, Safety and Mission Assurance Management Information, Quality Assurance/Engineering, Project Assurance, Risk Management, Independent Assessment, Documentation and Report elements that are managed by the Marshall Center’s Safety and Mission Assurance Directorate.
