Workshops, zero-gravity flight experiences will help teachers connect math, science curricula to human space exploration

What: Press conference and inaugural flight to introduce first-of-its-kind teacher training program. Teachers will experience first-hand the application of math, science and engineering principles aboard microgravity flights. Multi-city program will provide teachers with the tools and training to inspire and motivate the next generation of scientists, engineers and space explorers.

When: Saturday, June 24
10:00 a.m. – Press Conference
12:30 p.m. – Inaugural Flight

Where: Debus Conference Center
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, Florida

Who: Elementary, middle and high school teachers from throughout the state of Florida to participate in inaugural flights.
