News media are invited to a press conference and ribbon-cutting
ceremony for NASA’s newest supercomputer. The news conference is at
10 a.m. PDT Tuesday Oct. 26, in the NASA Advanced Supercomputing
(NAS) facility in Building N-258 at NASA Ames Research Center.
NASA Ames Director G. Scott Hubbard, Bob Bishop, CEO of Silicon
Graphics Inc., and Paul Otellini, president and COO of Intel
Corporation are participating in the press conference. Tours and
demonstrations for media are available after the press conference.
