NASA has awarded the Mission Operations and Mission
Services (MOMS) contract to Honeywell Technology Solutions,
Inc. (HTSI), of Columbia, Md. The maximum estimated value of
the cost-plus-award-fee Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite
Quantity (IDIQ) contract is $900 million.

HTSI will provide support to NASA’s Goddard Space Flight
Center (GSFC), Greenbelt, Md., for spacecraft flight
operations, mission data collection and distribution, mission
services integration, systems engineering and development
tasks, flight dynamics support and systems engineering,
mission communications support, and mission-operations and
flight-dynamics technology development and infusion. The
contract encompasses all flight mission phases including
formulation, development and operations for prime mission and
extended mission.

The MOMS contract, with a base period of performance of five
years and two one-year options, is the third of five work
packages to be awarded that are contained in the Space Mission
Communications and Data Services (SMCDS) solicitation.

There are nine major members of the Honeywell Technology
Solutions, Inc., team, including subcontractors a.i.
Solutions, Inc., of Lanham, Md., a small business, and SGT,
Inc., of Greenbelt, Md., a Small Disadvantaged/Veteran-owned
Business.
