Mission Profile: Atlas V will place Hellas-Sat into orbit using a
supersynchronous mission design. This mission will use a parking orbit
ascent trajectory design with two Centaur burn phases. The satellite’s own
attitude and orbital control system will perform a series of burns to lower
apogee and raise perigee to geosynchronous altitude, circularize orbit and
reduce inclination.

at 7:45 a.m. Monday, May 12.

Media Briefings: Pre-launch news conference following rollout, at 10 a.m.
Monday, at the Florida Space Authority Resource Center near the entrance to
Cape Canaveral AFS.

Remote Camera Set-up: Photographers should meet at CCAFS Pass & ID at 5 p.m.
Sunday, May 11.

Launch Viewing: Accredited media covering the launch should meet at CCAFS
Pass & ID at 4 p.m. Monday, May 12, for Air Force escort to Atlas V Press
Site.
